The British Fashion Gala has awarded Lina Bukhari's Atlantis collection its highest honour for sustainable practice.

London, 3 December 2024 — Lina Bukhari's Atlantis collection has been awarded the Best Sustainable Design prize at the annual British Fashion Gala, recognising its exceptional commitment to ethical production and environmental responsibility.

The award acknowledged the collection's use of exclusively natural fibres sourced through certified ethical supply chains, its zero-waste pattern-cutting methodology, and its partnership with traditional embroidery artisans.

"This recognition belongs to the artisans as much as to me," Bukhari said in her acceptance address. "Sustainable fashion is not an individual achievement — it is a network of relationships built on trust, fair exchange, and shared values."
